Come enjoy the Gardens in their springtime glory, and take Afternoon Tea with DVSS.
Our annual flagship event returns to the lovely Sterne Park, in Littleton CO. The park features shelters, a pond that attracts ducks and geese, and lots of trees. We are setting up in the North Shelter. The park is accessible. Across the street is the War Memorial Rose Garden, containing hundreds of roses of all types, statuary, fountains, and a pretty gazebo. Both sides of Bemis street provide many opportunities for promenading about in Garden dress.
Our Teas are pot-luck affairs, so consider what you'd like to bring; see the discussion section for suggestions. We will of course provide tea and other beverages. Also, volunteer opportunities are available to help make this a delightful afternoon for all.
We will begin setting up at 11:00 am and Tea will be served at 2:00 pm.
The cost for attendance is $10 per person; DVSS members will receive a discounted rate. A ticket link will be posted here.
As always, neo-Victorian attire is admired but never required. However, gardens are a beautiful backdrop for photos and this is a great opportunity to record your sartorial achievements.
