Honey Smoked Salmon Tea Sandwiches

  • 1 package Honey Smoked Salmon, skin removed and flaked

  • 1 8 oz block Philadelphia Cream cheese at room temp

  • Capers

  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped

  • fresh dill weed

  • 1 bag mini bagels

  1. In a bowl, blend the flaked salmon and the room temperature cream cheese.

  2. Split the bagels and spread a generous schmear on each half.

  3. Top each half with 2-4 capers, a pinch of red onion and a leaf of dill.

Honey Smoked Salmon is available at Denver-area supermarkets or on line. I generally wear sanitary gloves to remove the skin and flake the salmon, since the smoke flavor gets on my hands and stays there.
