Bacon & Avocado Tea Sandwiches
1 loaf white cocktail bread
4 avocados, peeled and mashed
Lemon juice
2 pounds bacon, fried and cut into 1” lengths
Add a touch of lemon juice to the avocado.
Spread avocado on both sides of the bread and add bacon.
The sandwiches can be made in advance; cover with a piece of wax paper and a damp towel to keep the bread from drying out.
A heartier, less traditional tea sandwich.
