Bacon & Avocado Tea Sandwiches

  • 1 loaf white cocktail bread

  • 4 avocados, peeled and mashed

  • Lemon juice

  • 2 pounds bacon, fried and cut into 1” lengths

  1. Add a touch of lemon juice to the avocado.

  2. Spread avocado on both sides of the bread and add bacon.

  3. The sandwiches can be made in advance; cover with a piece of wax paper and a damp towel to keep the bread from drying out.

A heartier, less traditional tea sandwich.
